I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Dona Urraca, ideally located within a short walk from downtown, making it easy to explore the local attractions, including the charming Angela Peralta Theatre and Casa de Allende Museum. The hotel features an impressive architectural design with spacious rooms, offering individually adjustable air conditioning and heating—ensuring a comfortable environment. During my visit, I had the opportunity to experience the culinary offerings. The restaurant ambiance was inviting, yet the breakfast left something to be desired. While it was satisfactory, I hoped for more variety in the spread, considering the rich culinary landscape surrounding the area. One of the highlights was the attentive staff, who were consistently friendly and eager to assist guests. Additional amenities, such as a stereo system and tea and coffee making facilities, subtly enhanced my stay. Although some facilities could benefit from maintenance, the warm, minimalist surroundings provided a pleasant retreat. For serious food enthusiasts, Dona Urraca serves as a great base to explore the gastronomic landscape, while still allowing for an uninterrupted rest from the hustle and bustle of the vibrant local scene.
